A perfect location to learn how to crochet, in our beginner’s crochet workshop at John Lewis Bluewater.
Yes, that’s right. On Thursday 9th May, we’re holding a special beginner’s crochet workshop at John Lewis Bluewater.
During the lesson, you’ll learn how to do the following:
- Hold your hook and yarn
- Use some of the basic crochet techniques
- Read a basic crochet pattern and chart
We’ll be making a pretty rose brooch, using yarn from the John Lewis haberdashery department, so that if you’re in love straight away, you’ll be in exactly the right place to get started! All of the materials and equipment are included in the price, and you’ll be provided with hot drinks and biscuits.
Lesson time: 11am – 2pm
Location: Please be at the Experience Desk by the fabric department on the 1st floor, 10 minutes before the beginning of the lesson.
If you don’t know anything about us, we’ve been teaching since 2013, at The Little Songbird Knitting Co HQ or at various centres in Kent, through Kent Adult Education. We specialise in beginner’s classes, getting you started on your crochet journey! We have a holistic approach to learning, so you’ll be making something that you can take home with you.
Whether you’re left or right handed, we’ll have the right equipment and resources to tell you everything you need to know.
